These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Trajecta’s desktop apps (macOS and Windows), web app, and website (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Trajecta.

2. Accounts

  • You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
  • Please provide accurate, current information at sign-up and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes or to violate any laws.
  • Upload malicious code, attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the Services.
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Misuse the Services in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure.

4. Your Content & Data

  • You retain ownership of the content you add to Trajecta.
  • You grant us a limited right to store and process your content solely to provide and maintain the Services.
  • You can export your data at any time using Trajecta’s export tools.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Trajecta software, features, and branding (excluding your content) are owned by us and protected by law.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Trajecta without our written permission.

6. Availability & Changes

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Desktop App License (EULA-style)

  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the desktop app on devices you own or control.
  • You may not decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or circumvent technical protections, except where permitted by law.
  • You may not resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the app.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption). Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Trajecta at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends; your right to export your data remains subject to applicable law and any technical limitations.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms occasionally. The latest version will be posted here. If changes are material, we’ll provide a more prominent notice (e.g., on the website or by email to subscribers).

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Courts in the UK have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to the Services.
