This Privacy Policy explains what information Trajecta (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and your rights. We aim to keep this simple and transparent.

1. Scope

This policy applies to:

Trajecta Desktop Apps (macOS & Windows)
Trajecta Web App (runs in your browser)
Trajecta Website (static marketing site hosted on GitHub Pages)

2. Data We Collect

Website: Our static site may use Google Analytics or similar tools to collect anonymous visitor statistics (e.g., page views, browser type, time on page). We do not collect personal information by default.
Sign-Up Forms: If you join our mailing list, we collect your email address and any optional data you provide. Forms are powered by MailerLite and stored securely by them.
Desktop & Web Apps: Your entries (e.g., memos, achievements, ideas) are stored securely on our servers to provide the service. We do not use your personal information or entries for marketing, and we do not sell your data. You can export your data at any time via the app.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data. If future features require additional information, this policy will be updated.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide, operate, and improve Trajecta.
To communicate product updates and early-access news only if you subscribed via our forms.
To analyze anonymous website usage for improvements.

We never sell or trade your personal data.

4. Third-Party Services

MailerLite – manages mailing list sign-ups and email delivery. Your data is used solely for Trajecta communications and stored securely by MailerLite. See their policy: MailerLite Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics – collects anonymous usage stats on the website. No personally identifiable information is collected via Analytics. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Your Rights

Unsubscribe from emails at any time (link in footer of each email).
Request modification or deletion of your mailing-list data by contacting us.
Export your app data at any time using the in-app export feature.

6. Data Retention

Mailing list data: kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
App data: kept while your account exists. If you delete your account, we remove associated data within a reasonable period.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this page from time to time. If changes are significant, we’ll provide a more prominent notice (e.g., email to subscribers).
