Trajecta 3.0 is our biggest release yet. You can now turn your logbook into a branded PDF impact report, the Insights page has been rebuilt from scratch, and every screen in the app has been redesigned, with a new entry editor, keyboard shortcuts and better search.
Impact reports
Capturing your wins is only half the job. At some point you need to show them to someone: in a performance review, when asking for a raise, while preparing for an interview or alongside a job application. The new Impact report (under Reports in the sidebar) builds a polished PDF from your logbook entries in a few minutes.
The report answers three questions: what did you deliver, what impact did it have, and which values or strengths does it show. Building one takes five short steps, and a live preview updates beside the builder as you go.

Give the report a title. Your name is filled in from your profile.

Values & strengths
Add your company's values, or the strengths you want to show (for example skills from a job ad). You can also pick from suggestions.

Entries
Choose a period, from a preset up to All time. Import every entry in that period in one click, or search, filter and pick entries by hand. Star entries as Highlights, put them in order, and tag them with the values they show.

In your own words
Write a short summary of your most important work and its impact.

Choose whether to include entry notes, and whether to list oldest or newest first.
What's in the PDF
- Summary: your own words come first, because that's what people read first.
- At a glance: how many achievements and ideas you logged, how many values and strengths they evidence, idea outcomes, and your activity over time.
- Key highlights: your starred entries in full, in the order you chose.
- Values & strengths in action: each value alongside the entries that show it.
- Achievements and Ideas & initiatives, grouped by month.
Every page carries a clean Trajecta header and a footer with your name, the period and page numbers. Your work in progress is saved as you go, so you can leave and pick it up later.

A rebuilt Insights page
Insights has been rebuilt to give you a clearer picture of your progress. Switch between the last 3, 6 or 12 months, or All time, and every section updates.
Headline numbers
Achievements, ideas, idea success rate and active weeks, each compared with the previous period.
Activity chart
Entries logged over time. Click any bar to see the entries behind it.
Daily activity
A calendar of the days you logged entries. Click a day to open its entries.
Idea pipeline
How your ideas break down across New, Active, Succeeded, Failed and Abandoned.
Needs attention
Drafts waiting to be finished, and ideas that have stalled with no changes for 30 days or more.
Most discussed
The entries you've added the most notes to in the period.
A new entry editor
The entry editor has been rebuilt as a clean, document-style page: a large title, then clearly labelled Type, Date and Status, then the description.
- Notes sit beside the entry as a timeline, instead of hiding behind a separate tab. They post instantly and don't depend on saving the entry.
- You always know where you stand. A pill shows whether an entry is New, a Draft or In logbook, and a live status goes from Unsaved changes to Saving… to Saved.
- Clear actions for each state: Save as draft or Add to logbook for new entries, Publish to logbook for drafts, and Save changes for everything else.
- Idea status descriptions now appear right inside the status picker, and dates show as Today or Yesterday where it helps.

Keyboard shortcuts
- ⌘K / Ctrl+K search your entries from anywhere
- N start a new entry
- ⌘S / Ctrl+S save the entry you're editing
- ⌘↵ / Ctrl+↵ save, or post a note while writing one
- ? show every shortcut
Better search
Open search and your five most recently updated entries are already there. Matching text is highlighted, the preview shows the part of the description that matched, and you can move through results entirely with the keyboard.
Logbook, Table and Timeline
- List cards show a one-line preview of the description and a notes count.
- The table can be sorted by date, status, title or notes, and its header stays in view as you scroll.
- Long timeline descriptions are trimmed to keep the timeline easy to scan.
- Page titles show entry counts, pages show loading placeholders instead of a false "empty" screen, and filtered views tell you when nothing matches, with a one-click Clear filters.
A whole new look
Every page has been refreshed so Trajecta feels like one consistent product:
- One brand blue across buttons, links and highlights, and one set of neutral greys.
- Idea status colours are now the same everywhere, including Insights.
- Consistent page headers, with the title on the left and filters and New on the right.
- Tighter spacing so more entries fit on screen, and a slimmer header and sidebar.
- Refreshed Settings and login pages.
More accessible. Cards, rows and timeline items can be reached with Tab and opened with Enter, focus outlines are always visible, screen reader labels have been improved, and the app respects your system's reduced motion setting.
Bug fixes
- Wrong dates: picking a date could save the day before for anyone ahead of UTC, including the UK during British Summer Time. Fixed.
- Insights no longer shows "No insights yet" when you open or refresh the page directly.
- Note counts no longer reset to 0 after editing an entry, and update as soon as you add or delete a note.
- A failed save during Save & close no longer closes the editor and loses your edits.
- The table's actions menu is no longer cut off on the last rows.
- Plus a long list of smaller visual fixes.
Changes to note
- Creating an entry now closes the editor and shows a confirmation.
- Notes can be added once an entry has been created.
- Saving changes to an existing entry is confirmed in the editor header (Saved) rather than a pop-up.
- Search shows a Draft badge for drafts, replacing the old Inbox / Logbook labels.
- In the table, a delete button appears on hover, replacing the ⋮ menu.
Notes
Trajecta has always been about capturing your wins as they happen. With 3.0 it can finally help you use them too, and I can't wait to see the reports you build.
